The Media Center contains approximately 10,000 books and numerous other resources.   The purpose of the Media Center is to support the needs of the staff and students at East Elementary. This includes curriculum studies and recreational reading. 
 
 
 The East Elementary Media Center promotes learning by:
  • Encouraging an appreciation of literature.
  • Teaching students to be responsible library users and responsible users of information.
  • Supporting curriculum goals through collaboration with staff.
