     I would like to welcome you and your child to a new school year at Cool Spring!  I hope you are as excited as I am to get started on what I know will be an exciting and productive year.
        This is my 10th year at Cool Spring and I have taught first grade for all of those years.  Prior to being here, I taught 4th grade in another county.  My husband’s name is Donald and he is the City Manger of Conover.  We live in Conover with our children, Aidan and Julianna. 
   My assistant is Mrs. Shelia Price.  She has worked at Cool Spring for 20 years and has served in many different roles over the years.  She is married and has two children, Travis and Daniel.
