I grew up in Iredell County.  I graduated from West Iredell High School, Mitchell Community College, and Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6).  I have been blessed to be named Teacher of the Year twice in my educational career.  I love to teach, cook, bowl, and bake!  I am married with one son.  We love to spend time together as a family having fun!
