Our Leadership Mission, Goal and Vision
 
The Mission of our school leadership team is to exhibit positive, professional leadership that will empower our faculty , staff,  and students to take charge of their own learning. We will be honest in our discussions and make data-driven decisions that support learning for children and adults. 
 
Our leadership goal is to improve student performance and reduce discipline incidents by: working toward continuous classroom improvement; supporting positive student behavior; and providing timely professional development for staff.
 
Our leadership team vision is to provide leadership to faculty, staff, and students in order to become a NC School of Distinction.

 
About Me

I am very pleased to be assistant principal at West Iredell Middle School.  This will be my first year at West, and I am looking forward to working with the West staff to help all our students be successful. 
 
Before coming to WMS, I was a middle school assistant principal in I-SS for three years.  Prior to that, I was an EC teacher in Catawba County. My educational background includes a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Virginia, EC certification from Old Dominion University, and a Masters degree in School Administration from Appalachian State University.
