My mission is to inspire my students to have a life long desire to learn about the world around them. I hope they will learn to love and respect the scientific field as much as I do as they learn the importance of Science in their daily lives.

 

 

I have been teaching in North Carolina for thirteen years. Previously to that I had a teaching career in Jarrestsville, Maryland. I have taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Science and Math. However, 7th grade Science is my favorite and I feel fortunate to be able to teach the subjects that I love. I have extensive experience in the medical field and worked as a Microbiologist and Medical Technologist for many years at a local hospital in Maryland. I spend my spare time in the North Carolina mountains.  I own property there and will someday have my dream retirement home in the mountains!
