I want to provide and instill within students and staff the wisdom and joy of reading and a desire to create more informed literate citizens.

 

I was born in Statesville and educated in Iredell-Statesville Schools.  I am a graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury; my area of certification is Language Arts 6-12, English 9-12, AIG K-12,   My National Board Certification is Early Adolescent English/Language Arts. I have taught at East Middle for 20 years.
