  • America the Beautiful

    Check out the 2nd grade students all working together to create this video. The art students created this awesome mural, the music students sang and played instruments and the computer students selected the images and put it all together in a video with Animoto. This is a new program that the Enhancement teachers have created to promote the importance of cooperation and communication among students. The students had so much fun as they learned to interact with each other, developing leadership skills. Each grade level will be working together to create a special project, all tied in with the common core standards.

  • 3rd Grade Book Talks - click for video

    3rd grade students chose books that they would recommend to their classmates. They read the book and worked with Media to write a short book talk. Then these students worked with Art and Music to create a song or book jacket to illustrate their talk. Finally, Mrs. TLC videotaped the students as they "sold" their books to other students!

  • 4th Grade Presidents

    The fourth graders researched and studied the presidents of the United States. As a culminating activity, each student created a president out of a liter bottle. We then used a new web 2.0 tool called Blabberize to create the talking bottles as you will see! Just click on the title "4th Grade Presidents" to see the presidents talking!
