Welcome to our Classroom

I would like to welcome you to our class. We are quite the non-traditional class. We learn through a lot of different methods. We are not the paper/pencil crowd although we do use them at times. Research has shown that students with learning differences need a variety of learning experiences in order to understand and master the material being taught. So if you are able to come for a visit and find us dancing, singing, acting, or finger painting fill free to join in an learn with us.

My Mission
Every child can learn! It is my job to find out how learning happens best for each student and ensure they receive instruction in that way, to instill a life long love of learning, and to help them see how uniquely wonderful they are.

About Me

This is my second year at Cloverleaf and I am so happy to be here. I grew up in Statesville and moved back to the best town in the world last summer with my husband Johnny, and our 2 children Maya (17) and Jack (6). I have been a Special Education teacher for 12 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy working with elementary students because of their desire to learn, and their wonder with new concepts and experiences. I look forward to a great year of learning!
