The Professional Women in Building Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who wishes to pursue a career in the Home Building Industry. Interested students must have a GPA of 2.5, solid work history, community service participation, and be arole model within the school and community. The Danielle Elizabeth Liotta Memorial Humanitarian Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating LNHS senior who exhibits strong academics and humanitarian work during high school. The amount of the award is $1,000.00. Requirements: 3.9 unweighted GPA plus additional criteria. Please come to guidance for an application. Due May 8, 2013 to guidance.
The Danielle Elizabeth Liotta Memorial Marching Band Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating LNHS senior that has participated in Marching Band all four years. A minimum unweighted GPA of 3.7 is required, plus additional information. Please come to guidance to pick up an application. Due May 8, 2013 to guidance.
Lake Norman Regional Medical Center
Materials are available in guidance for those students that participated in the Junior Volunteer Program at the Hospital. Additionally, applications are now available for students currently in 10th or 11th grade and are interested in applying for the Volunteer Program this summer.

The TEACH Early Childhood Project Scholarship
The TEACH project is excited to announce the addition of a new scholarship model for early childhood students. These scholarships are available to any student enrolled as a full time student at any NC Community College. This scholarship is ideal for graduating high school seniors who are interested in pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Students apply for the stipend and agree to work for a specific time period in the early childhood field. Come by the Guidance Office for an application. Deadline is open.

BigSun Scholarship
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.
Deadline - June 21, 2013
Amount of Award - $500.00
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community..
