Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books (BOB) is a state-wide competition at the middle school level held annually in the spring. It is sponsored by the North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA). Throughout the year students prepare for the competition by reading from the annual list of specific titles.

At East Middle, Battle of the Books is a Knightime Performance Class which meets daily. Students interested in participating must sign up at the beginning of the year and make a year-long committment.

Mrs. Jester is the Battle of the Books Coach this year.
