My Classroom Mission

We are here to learn our math, writing and reading by listening and following directions so we can go to 2nd grade. 
 
 
About Me
 
I am so excited to have your child in my class this school year. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your awesome child. There are many great adventures ahead of us for this year and I hope that we can enjoy each and every one of them together.
Let me tell you some things about myself. I am a lifelong native of Iredell County. I graduated from North Iredell High School where I met my husband of many wonderful years. We have two adult children; Annie and Adam. Adam is married to a great lady named Amanda and they have a beautiful 3 year-old son named Aidan and a precious little one year old daughter named Amity. Yes, we do spoil them even though we try not to.
I graduated from Mitchell Community College with an Associate Degree in Art and then I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree from Gardner-Webb University. I have been with ISS for 14 years and have enjoyed each one. I have learned a lot during those years and I hope to share these learning experiences with your child.
 
If there is ever a time that you need to speak with me, just call the school and we will set up a time to talk about your concerns. Come by and have lunch with your child when you are able to. Lunch time is 12:20-12:50.
