 Welcome to 7th grade mathematics!  I am looking forward to working with you and  your child over the next school year. Students will be learning a variety of topics this year such as: investigations in algebra, operations of integers, number theory, percents and geometric concepts. 

  Students will be given a grade recording sheet each nine weeks.  All homework, quizzes and tests will be listed on the grade sheet.  Please check your child's grade sheet on a regular basis to know how he/she is doing in class.  Also, at the end of each week a "student of the week" will be awarded to one student which displays outstanding study habits, conduct and class participation.  
 
Accelerated Math is an ongoing assignment that students should be working on each week.  Students are responsible for completing their practices as well as testing on the objectives assigned to each class.  Please check with your child weekly to make sure that they are up to date on Acc Math!  Accelerated math counts as a test grade.  Students are responsible for mastering 25 objectives each marking period.  (40 objectives for advanced math)
