I am a native of the Mooresville area and a product of the Iredell Statesville School System.  I attended Troutman Middle School and graduated with honors from South Iredell High School.   Before coming to Brawley, I taught at 2 schools in the district (South Iredell High and East Middle) .  I also worked as a teacher assistant and bus driver at Lake Norman and Woodland Heights Elementary Schools.

 

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Lenoir-Ryhne College and completed my teacher licensure at UNC-Charlotte.

 

I am married (husband - Channin) and have three children [Jessica (23), Andre (15) and our recently adopted son, Jeremiah (2)]!  We are also foster parents.  We have Alexa (7) and Nazaria (2).  We have added a puppy to our family since Christmas named BINGO!

 

My favorite thing to do is to work in my garden (flowers and vegetables) because I like to see things grow.  Let's grow together this year!!
