Apprenticeship 2000 is a four-year school to work program that begins with an application and screening process in the Junior year of high school. Students work a half day on the job and attend school half a day during their senior year. After high school graduation they work full time and are paid even during the eight hours when they attend tuition-free college classes at Central Piedmont Community College. Free College and a Paycheck! And, in 3 years they have Journeyman certification and an Associate in Applied Science degree from CPCC.
