Topics to be explored

Grammar/Writing/Research: Grammar and multiple forms of writing will be emphasized throughout this course.

Vocabulary/Spelling: In an effort to improve the vocabulary skills of the students, we will be working closely with the vocabulary in the literature that we will be reading.

Study Island: Each week, students will be assigned a Study Island assignment. More information will follow.

Literature: Depending on the availability of time, readings may include (but may not be limited to) the following:
