Parents are a vital part to a child's educational development. Help me to help them by being totally active in their education. You may do this by:
2) Calling 704-873-3491 to schedule a parent/student/teacher conference ( I arrive @ 11:30AM)
3) Ask to see their notebook and study cards regularly
4) Read, sign and return progress reports every 4 1/2 weeks.
5) Check class/homework schedule
6) Recommend them to report to regular tutoring at 3:20 as needed
7) Always send them to school with necessary supplies
8) Encourage them to go to bed early and get up early enough to have a good breakfast
Classroom Supplies:
1) Two #2 pencils (attach erasers preferred - very helpful)
2) Composition spiral style notebook (3 subject preferred)
3) 4 x 6 lined index cards (lined may find spiral @ Food Lion)
4) A POSITIVE WORKING Attitude (I can be successful; I will work hard to learn as much as I can)
Classroom rules and Expectations:
Students will bring a detailed list of classroom rules and expectations on the 1st day of school. You and your child are to explain to me what your expectations are from me; what do you expect from your child; what does your child expect from themselves and what does your child expect from me. Please print your e-mail clearly. Please feel free to see me any time.

Know and follow emergency procedures
