Societe Honoraire de francais (National French Honor Society): The requirements to be eligible for entrance into this presitgious academic group are as follows:

1. Must be in French II or higher

2. maintain an A- avg. or higher during the semester of selection

3. have at least an A- avg. in all preceding French classes combined

4. maintain a B avg. or higher in all other subjects during semester of selection (French not included)

Selection for this society is done in the spring after third quarter report cards have been issued. We have an induction ceremony where parents are invited, and students are required to dress up. We usually have a reception with the Spanish honor society following the ceremony.
