French II Objectives

1. To learn the culture of: holidays, Paris, artists, regions, food, Martinique, Haiti & Guadeloupe, and leisure activities.
2. To apply correctly the passé compose with avoir and etre, and differentiate between when to use which helping verb.
3. To recall and apply the comparison and superlatives of adjectives with nouns.
4. To recall, identify and apply vocabulary of: zoo animals, professions, geography, modes of transportation, farm animals, reading material, food, bathroom and toiletries, chores, television shows & genres of film, and instruments.
5. To know when and how to use imperative verb forms.
6. To distinguish between which prepositions to use before cities, countries and places.
7. To form, identify and apply ordinal numbers.
8. To turn singular nouns with various endings into plural nouns.
9. To idenitfy and apply the use of reflexive verbs in past and present.
10. To improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in the target language.
11. To learn how and where to apply direct object pronouns in present tense situations.
