My Classroom Mission

6th grade:
Mrs. Pavao’s 6th grade class will learn greetings, days, months, colors, and numbers 0-100. We will also be able to communicate, describe culture, and use a dictionary. We will reach our goal by listening, focusing, trying our hardest, and cooperating. We will ask questions and play games as well.
 
7th grade:
Mrs. Pavao’s 7th grade class will meet all of our standards for Spanish IA. We will be able to have a basic conversation, describe people in sentences, and use verbs correctly. We will also learn about holidays and other culture. We will reach our goals by working hard as a class, in groups, and on our own. We will ask questions and study at home.

About Me

I was born in South Carolina and graduated from Chapman High School in Inman, S.C.. I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Secondary Education in 2000. I have taught at Kennedy Middle School in Charlotte, N.C., South Iredell High School in Troutman, N.C., Westside High School in Anderson, S.C., and now I teach here at Brawley Middle.
I am married to my husband, Scott, and we live in Huntersville. We have a little girl named Ella. She was born in October of 2008. We are expecting a new baby boy at the end of November.
