  • Where in the world is math?

    Math is  EVERYWHERE. Spend a few minutes once a week thinking about math even when you aren't taking a math class.  How can you do that? 
    Here are a couple of ideas:
    • Try to find a math website that actually WORKS - some links are old or aren't really math related once you click on them.  Write it down or email it to me at smcauley@iss.k12.nc.us so we can talk about it once school starts again.
    • Practice math - calculate the tip when you go out to eat, try to use your change to avoid getting pennies back - cook something for a crowd.
