Registration and your child’s transition to Brawley is made easier with the following information being provided prior to or on the day of enrollment:

Proof of Residence Information:  To enroll your child in our school system, you must provide proof of residence information at the time of registration.  You may provide any of the following documentation to verify proof of residence:  rental/sales agreement/contract, power bill, etc.

Academic Placement Information:  This information includes current grade reports, withdrawal form, End of Grade (EOG) test scores (if your child is from NC), any achievement test scores (IOWA, CAT, etc) and any other information pertaining to special class assignments (EC, AIG, 504 plans, etc)

Other Required Registration Information:

  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization/health records
  • Current Medication List, if applicable


Registration Fees:

  •  $5.00 for school planner/agenda fee
  •  $5.00 school lock rental fee
  •  $15.00 gym uniform fee

Uniform Dress Code:

Please note that Brawley Middle School has a mandatory Uniform Dress Code in place.  Specific information regarding the dress code may be obtained by visiting the following link:
 
 
Class Schedule Format:
Brawley Middle School is on a six-period schedule.  Your student will have 4 academic classes, a WIN (What Individual's Need) class (emphasis varies by grade level), and a “wheel” class.  Wheel classes alternate on A/B days and include:  Art, PE, Computers, Health, Band, and Spanish.
The school day begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm.
 
Other Information:
If your child has been in band in his/her previous school and would like to continue, please be sure to let us know at the time of enrollment.

If you feel that your child may have difficulties in adjusting to a new school, has had transition issues in the past, or has other special needs, please let us know so that we can be sure to provide extra support.
