SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser for Students

To access SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser, open an Internet browser and navigate to NCWiseowl. 
From the LNHS web page you may follow the links off the media center page:
LNHS / Media Center/Online Information Resources/ NCWiseowl
 
Or just go directly to NCWisowl  http://www.ncwiseowl.org .

If you access NCWiseowl from home, you will need a password which is available from the school media center.

From the NCWiseowl main page, click on the link to SAS® Curriculum Pathways® located in the blue bars at the center top of the page.


Click on the red Subscriber Login button on the top right of the screen.  Once there, enter the username given to you in the student login field.

You can access the Writing Reviser by following links:
English/Communication Skills/Writing Process/Interactivity: SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser.  

You can also access the SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser by typing the number 1242 in the Quick Launch field at the top right of the main page.

Once in the SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser, follow the directions of the numbered steps being sure to always read the entire screen for useful information and tips.  Students should use the Spell Check and Analysis functions after entering an essay and then proceed with the numbered steps found in the sidebar on the left of the screen.  The teacher will need to give students an email address to send results to and direct students about what information they want in the emailed results.

Students will be able to use the SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser from any Internet connected computer, so that they could use it on any essay they are required to write.
