Parents' Information from Mrs. Fox...
Welcome to the Agriculture Department at Lake Norman High School! We are excited to have new students as well as returning faces in our program this fall. Agriculture courses are a part of the Career and Technical Education program offering and are tested by Vocats.

Agriculture courses involve hands-on activities as well as classroom instruction. These are equally important and will both be used for grading in classes. Please understand that participation is mandatory in all class activities.

In addition to classroom and lab opportunities, the FFA is an integral part of the experience. While it is not mandatory, students who join and participate in service projects, leadership and career exploration activities gain through their experiences. We hope that you will encourage your child to participate in after-school activities offered by the FFA. We conduct monthly meetings held after school, as well as many other events and activities throughout the school year.
Thank you for your support and encouragement!
