Welcome to third grade. We are going to have a wonderful year full of learning and fun. I look forward to getting to know both the students and parents from my class. Please feel free to contact me whenever needed. Thank you!
 
My Classroom Mission
 
This year the students in Mrs. Fairchild’s third grade class will work hard to get ready for fourth grade by: working together, becoming problem solvers, making new friends, learning new things, and trying our hardest to listen and participate each and every day.
 
About Me
 
This is my twelfth year in the classroom, and seventh year at Woodland Heights. Previous to teaching third grade, I taught both fourth and fifth grades in Greensboro, NC. I earned my bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in 2001. I am also a national board certified teacher and earned my master's degree from Pfeiffer University in 2009.  In my spare time I love to shop, read, and watch movies both new and old.  I live here in Mooresville with my husband, Jeff and our rambunctious lab-aussie mix, Quinn.
