We tested and earned an 85% average on our conversion test. After reviewing the test with students it appears many students made simple errors with subtracting. Some forgot the conversions but most errors were completely preventable.

 

I have been having regular meetings with students about their progress in ACC. It is MUCH better this nine weeks. Yay!

I only have a couple that are a little behind. We even have some students that have already met their goal 4 weeks early. Woohoo! I keep encouraging students to come see me in the morning during or HAWKS time if they need additional help with ACC or regular classwork.

 

Our next topic after this one will be volume. Students will be working with manipulatives to learn the volume concept. We will then apply it with measuring objects and determining the volume.
