I am helping with the transition by sending the newsletter for next week.

 

        The kids will complete Topic 15 on 'Solids' and take the test on Thursday, 1/26.  They will begin Topic 19 on 'Transformations' next Monday.  We started a new novle, 'Cricket in Times Square' last week and projects were assigned.  They are due Feb.2.  We will try to have a 'Chinese New Year' celebration on Feb.1. (Food and craft) 

   We will also begin Social Studies again with the quick study of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

 

   Report cards will come home Thursday, 1/26.

 

   Friday is the AR Celebration day.  The kids will choose a movie to watch, have a popcorn treat, wear their PJ's and can also bring a blanket to sit on.  The floors can get very cold.  The kids have worked hard to earn their reward!  Their new AR goals have been set and yes, they are higher!
