Birthdays - We do celebrate birthdays.  Let me know when you want to bring in a snack.  I usually do it at 9:15 during their snack time.  Remember that according to school policy all food has to be store bought.

 

Fridays are "extras" day in the cafeteria.  They can buy ice cream, a cookie or chips.

 

 Snacks- send a healthy snack every day!  You may send a juice box or water if you wish.  Please don't send soda!

 

The school is not allowing dismissal after 1:40 so please pick up your child earlier if you need to!!

 

Please send any transportation changes on a note in their notebook.  If you only send it by email I may not get it!

 

Please label your child's outerwear.  It makes it easier to find if they lose it!

 

First Grade Homework Policy:

1.  Does not take more than 20 minutes per day.

2.  Practice skills already taught.

3.  Not graded.

4.  Turned in on time.

5.  Completed by the student.

6.  Parent signature.

 

Please continue to turn in your child's spelling work even if you did an activity not listed and write it in.
