Your child should be recording  his/her homework in their homework binder daily
 
Selection story vocabulary words are recorded in their Reading Notebooks ( to be studied at home).
 
If your child does not do his/her homework or forget it at home,  they may still turn it in late and receive full credit.
 
*****  It is very important that your child does attempt the homework as I use this as a tool to:
                      1.   Reinforce a skill that had just been taught.
                      2.   Inform me whether we need to revisit the concept and reteach it.
 
Students will have written homework in both Math and Reading (Monday-Thursday)
Most of our tests will fall on Fridays, so you should expect your child to be studying Thursday nights for the following tests:
          1.  Spelling Test    2.  Reading Selection Test     3. Math PDSA Test    
          4.  Weekly L to J Quizzes    5. Reading Vovabulary    6. Math Vocabulary     7. Science Vocabulary   8.  Maps: (U.S. states, rivers, and lakes)
