Your child will use a pocket folder for daily communication between home and school.  Items in the left pocket should be kept at home.  Items in the right pocket should be returned to school.  The monthly calendar will be used as a behavior record.  Any correspondence you have for the school (teacher, office, cafeteria, etc.) may be sent to school in the folder.

 

 Completed work will be sent home in the left side of the folder.  Please remove those papers and take time to review your child's work with him/her and to discuss areas of success and areas in which he/she may need improvement.  Any paper labeled "Please finish" is incomplete classwork which needs to be finished at home and returned to school.

 

It is my hope that we can work together to ensure that your child receives an excellent education.  I encourage you to eat lunch with us, to volunteer to work with the children, and to call me or send a note with any questions or concerns.  Please discuss with your child the importance of working cooperatively with others, completing all tasks, and doing his/her best.
