v    I can classify polygons based on their properties.

v    I know the sum of the interior angles of polygons.

v    I can recognize the relationships between the length of a side and diagonal of a polygon.

v    I can identify parallel and perpendicular intersection of the sides and diagonals of polygons.

v    I can determine whether a figure has line symmetry, rotational symmetry, both, or neither.

v    I can solve problems using the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a polygon.

v    I can solve problems using the lengths of sides and diagonals.

v    I can solve problems using the parallel and perpendicular intersections of sides and diagonals.

v    I can identify, determine changes, and extend numbers and geometric patterns.

v    I can solve problems using algebra, patterns, and number sentences.

v    I can describe and analyze rates of change.

v    I can collect, organize, analyze and display data to solve problems.
 

ELA Essentials (2nd semester)

v    I can use evidence in the text to evaluate characters and events.

v    I can combine the use of a variety of resources in order to further understand a topic.

v    I can edit my writing for correct grammar, conventions, and format.
