My Mission
It is my mission to help each child recognize their strengths and weaknesses. I will show them how to develop their strengths, while compensating for their weaknesses. I will encourage each child to set and achieve goals, and make decisions they are proud of.
 
My Classroom Mission
Our mission is to learn the fifth grade curriculum, and pass to the sixth grade.  We will do this by setting goals and working to achieve them.  We will show good character at all times, so we can make new friends and keep the old ones.
 
About Me
I graduated from Ohio University in 1980 with a degree in Elementary Education.  I began teaching in Iredell-Statesville Schools when my family relocated in 1996. My husband John and I have three children working and paying taxes.:)
 
My Expectations
I expect my students to put forth their best effort on all tasks.  I do my best to make learning relevant, meaningful and fun, and I expect my students to arrive at school each morning ready to seize the day!
