Parents are invited to come speak to my classroom concerning technology and their careers.

Students enjoy parents sharing information about technology as it relates to their work. Some past parent speakers presenting technology in our class over the years include an Astronomer, Fiber Optics Manufacturer, Doctor, Nurse, Geologist, Engineer, Energy Specialist from Duke Power, Optical Medical Sales, Soil Specialist and more! 
 
Hands-on-Demonstrations are encouraged!  What fun for students to see and understand Technology by Design as it applies to our lives and the real world. 6th grade NCSCOS: Goal 2
