Reading

20 minutes each night

Reading book, library books or books from home.  Please sign your child's folder sheet nightly to confirm that you listened to your child read that night and saw his/her homework folder.

 Spelling   

Monday - 3 times each

Tuesday - ABC order

Wednesday - Sentences for each word.  Be sure they are at least 6 words long and do not all start with "I."

Put in homework folder; all due by Friday

Math

Math homework may be assigned as we approach PA exams or as needed.

Depending on how our class is doing, math homework may be given to practice for upcoming predictive assessment exams.  Sometimes I will give a child homework to work on a skill that he/she needs more practice.
