Our Lab Mission This year we will learn about science by becoming a scientist. We will do experiments, observe, touch, listen, and ask questions about our world. We will learn respect for our world by learning to care for it. We will never give up trying to do our best!
I am originally from a small town in southern Virginia. I attended East Carolina University where I received a BS in Early Childhood Education. I received my Mastersdegreefrom Appalachian State University. This will be my 28th year teaching.
I live in Statesville with my husband Gayle. We have 4 wonderful children. Our oldest daughter just earned her doctorate in chemical and bio-physics. She lives with her husband and 2 children in Apex, NC. Our middle daughter teaches 5th grade in Catawba County. She and her husband live in Troutman with their daughter. Our son graduated from UNC and is attending Clemson, working on his doctorate in Economics. Our youngest daughter graduated from ECU with a degree in graphic and architectural design, she lives in Winston-Salem with her husband.
My favorite hobbies include meeting new people, volunteering at my church, and reading in my hammock!
I am very excited about another year at Cloverleaf !
