Our class is here to learn, make friends, and have fun.  We will accomplish these things by listening, participating, working hard, and setting goals.  We will know we have accomplished our goals by increasing scores on Predictive Assessments, passing the EOG, and passing the 3rd grade.

 

I grew up in southern West Virginia and attended West Virginia University.  After participating in a 5-year program at WVU, I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in elementary education and a specialization in 5-9 English Language Arts.  I've always loved North Carolina and knew that I wanted to come here to teach.  I moved to Statesville in May 2008 to settle in and begin my teaching career.
