• What Are You Reading and WHY? - February

Posted by Melissa Loflin at 2/11/2013
It's time for us to start blogging with each other again. This way we can all talk to each other about what we are reading. I guarantee you'll find a new book that you'll want to read. Each month will start a new posting. Please post in this month's post each time.
    THE RULES ARE
    1. ALWAYS say nice things to others. NO disrespectful comments!
    2. When you leave your post include: YOUR FIRST NAME, THE BOOK TITLE, IF YOU ARE READING FOR FUN OR TO LEARN, AND WHY YOU CHOSE THAT BOOK. Please proofread your post and correct mistakes.
    3. If you see a post that interests you please respond to it with why you are also interested in that person's book choice. Perhaps you read that book, too, or you want to.
    4. Have fun, communicate with each other and with me.

Students, you've seen my poster about what I'm reading and why in the media center. Some of you have already taped up notecards telling others what you are reading and why.
    what are you reading
Now I want us to blog with each other instead of writing on the notecards. This way we can all talk to each other about what we are reading. I guarantee you'll find a new book that you'll want to read. Each month will start a new posting. Please post in this month's post each time.

  • How to Post a Comment

Posted by Mrs. Loflin at 9/27/2012
This is just a reminder about how to post a comment to our blog.

Click on a specific blog title over on the right hand side of the screen to see just that blog and just that blog's comments.

Click on the word comments at the bottom to create a comment post.

It says you have to put in your email address, so please use nbmillslibrary@yahoo.com .

Just enter that in along with ONLY your FIRST NAME.  I will be sent an email telling me that you posted a comment and I will get online and approve it for you so that it shows up on our blog page.

Just remember a few things when you post:
    1. Be respectful of others and their comments
    2. Be careful of what you say so that you do not offend or hurt someone's feelings
    3. Stay on topic (write about what we're talking about)
    4. Have fun!
