Fouth grade is a fast-paced academic curriculum.  Our goal is to close the gap in all of the subjects: reading, writing, and math, as well as have our students build comprehension by using the new Bloom's Taxonomy Stem questions regarding reading.  Writing is an essential part of the NC curriculum with a state test in March of each year.  Science and social studies are integrated throughout all the subject areas throughout the year.  Having a positive attitude is an integral part of our motto: FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!
