2013 Summer Programs
Join students who have completed grades 2nd - 12th as they find the perfect summer camp for them. Students can choose between numerous camps as they learn and explore movie making, creative problem solving and thinking, geocaching, chess, geology, robotics, and theatre arts. Enrichment camps run the weeks of June 17th - 20th, and June 24th-27th.
Prime Time Summer Camp
The Prime Time's Summer Adventure 2013 begins June 17th through August 16th. Camp will be closed July 1-5, 2013. Prime Time's Summer Adventure will be held at Celeste Henkel Elementary School, Cloverleaf Elementary School, Coddle Creek Elementary School, East Iredell Elementary School, Lake Norman Elementary School, N.B. Mills Elementary School, and Troutman Elementary School. Campers will enjoy one off-campus and 1 on-campus field trip every week as well as one week of swimming lessons at the YMCA. Iredell Museums is hosting 6 camps this summer with concentrations in history, science, and art. These camps are open to children ages 4-13 with camps running at various times throughout the months of June and July.
This camp is open to children kindergarten through eighth grade. Activities include horseback riding, kayaking, fishing, watersports, wheels and deals, as well as many others. Children will learn about animal care, agricultural skills, and problem solving in our challenge course. The camp will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Camp weeks will start June 10th and continue through August 16th with camp closed July 1st-5th and July 23rd-August 2nd.
