 Welcome to the Parent's Page.  As parents, I'm sure you would like to know what your children accomplish in computer lab at Coddle Creek.  Your children have a great deal of information that they must learn before the end of each year.  North Carolina Standard Course of Study determines what each child, in each grade, must know before they advance to the next grade level.  My job is to make sure your children reach these goals. 
 
      One of our objectives for grades 1st - 5th, is to identify the Internet as a source of information.  This will be accomplished through Internet research and exploration.  Each student was given an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) form in the beginning of the year.  This form allows the parents to make the decision whether they want their child to use the Internet.  Please be aware that all use of the Internet is supervised.  Only approved sites are available to be accessed.  The AUP form is kept in the students' cumulative folder and is valid as long as they attend Coddle Creek Elementary.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email.  You can view the other objectives and goals for your student, by connecting to the NC Department of Instruction via this link (North Carolina Standard Course of Study) or the link on my home page.
