Our fourth grade team provides a safe, student-focused learning environment. We utilize research-based, high-yield instructional strategies in differentiated learning groups. Our instruction follows the Common Core State Standards for ELA and Math, and the NC Essential Standards for Science and Social Studies. We also use a variety of data to identify gap areas that need to be addressed on an individual student basis. Our team collaborates to create challenging and unique learning experiences for all students.

Students use Accelerated Reading and Accelerated Math to enhance their learning.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in various enrichment activities: Battle of the Books Team, Robotics Team, and Fire/Life Safety Team.
