My Classroom Mission

Our class mission is to learn the essential fifth grade common core curriculum to be ready for promotion to sixth grade. We will work hard, complete assignments on time, and work cooperatively.

    Hello! My name is Mrs. Traci Jones. I am originally from Edison, New Jersey, but I have lived and taught in five states! I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade again this year!
     I graduated from Princeton University in 1996 and have been teaching ever since. I played softball and still hold athletics close to my heart! You most likely will see me on the kickball field.
     My family, husband Dylan, son Bailey (13), daughter Parker (9), daughter Preston (6), and son Dempsey (2) have lived in Mooresville for 8 years. Prior to moving to North Carolina, my husband was a naval aviator in the US Navy which allowed us to live in Florida, California, and Maryland. I'm happy to say North Carolina is now HOME! We love to play sports, play outside, and spend time watching movies or playing family games.
