I believe combining individual praise, concern, humor, and support in each learning situation results in  children feeling valued.  It is important to allow students opportunities for success. I facilitate an active learning environment, because children learn more when given as many hands-on experiences as possible. Beginning each new unit with a science experiment has been my favorite way to do this. I love seeing eyes light up with anticipation!
