Register

There will be a homework calendar for the entire month.  There will be a place for you to initial after your child has completed the work for that day.  Place the completed work in the folder and return it on the last day of the month.  Rewards will be given for completed homework and for turning the folder in on time.
 
 
Reading~ Read to your child at least 15 min. every night. If your child can read, let them read to you for 15 mins.  Read your take home book evey night and return it to school on Thursday's.
                     Read! Read! Read!
 
Math~ Count everything.  Read numbers. If your child already knows all of their numbers 1-30 practice writing their numbers 1-30. When they can do that start adding one-digit numbers together.
  Also have your child make patterns with 3-4 different colors of buttons, blocks, etc. 
 
Sight Words~ There are 24 Kindergarten sight words that we will be learning this year.  Please learn 2 new words each week.  Look for these words in books, magazines, on cereal boxes.  LOOK, LOOK, LOOK for them everywhere!
