Chess Club
Chess meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.  It is open to all K - 5th grade students.  It is requested that parents send their child a snack and drink.  The students report to the cafeteria at 2:15, sign in, eat their snack and play chess.  We do mini workshops to introduce the game to younger students. The older students help to facilitate these workshops. We like for parents to come and play with us.  If you do play cess, please come and help teach some strategies.  The first meeting will be a parent and student meeting to discuss:  coachig techniques, tshirts, chess workshops, mini tournament in December, sponsered by LES, and any other ideas  you as parents might have.
