Homework
 
Why we give homework? 
To enrich learning, strengthen skills, and provide practice for skills already taught in class.
 
 
Homework Expectations
 
 
Parents:
  • Provide encouragement and motivation
  • Set a consistent homework schedule each afternoon
  • Monitor and provide minimal assistance (check over your child's work)
 
Students:
  • Understand the assignment
  • Complete homework independently in a reasonable amount of time
  • Do your best (neatly)
 
Teacher:
  • Give clear directions to homework assignments
  • Model examples of projects
  • Check assignments and provide feedback
