About Mrs. Orr

I live in Mooresville with my husband, Joe and my son, Tanner and my 6 year old daughter, Jessica.  Tanner is an 8th grade student at Mount Mourne IB and Jessica is in Second Grade at LNE.

I have been teaching for 17 years and I was a school counselor for 1 year.  I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and I have taken classes to add “gifted education” to my North Carolina Teaching License. 

I am a born and bred, die-hard Red Sox fan, originally from Massachusetts.   I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts and my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Boston University. 

I am excited about this school year and look forward to working with your child.
