By the end of 1st grade, students should be able to say "I can:

Sing on pitch

Name half, quarter, and eighth notes and a quarter rest

Sing lots of different songs

Follow the conductor

Play a steady beat

Name our list of instruments

Play correct rhythms

Move to the music
