Iredell- Statesville Schools AIG Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted Program is to rigorously challenge students by recognizing, cultivating, nurturing, and offering opportunities for continued growth by providing differentiated educational services beyond the regular education program.  Iredell-Statesville Schools support the current North Carolina definition of giftedness.  This definition is used to identify students in need of differentiated services as an academically or intellectually gifted learner.
