Welcome!

 

 I am the Instructional Facilitator for Harmony Elementary and Union Grove Elementary Schools.  I have been teaching for 39 years, all in the  elementary grades. I graduated from UNCC as an undergraduate and also did my graduate work there. My greatest joy is in working with young children in reading. For the last 6 or 7 years, I have operated a Literacy Lab for kindergarten classes and intervention students in other grades as time allowed.

 

I am excited about the challenge of now working with teachers and assisting them in increasing student achievement by being a coach and mentor.
