My mission is to inspire in my students a love of foreign languages.  I hope to help them become more linguistically and culturally aware through the study of language, songs, and customs from around the world (in the target language).  I wish to contribute to the confidence and success of my students through holistic learning.  I propse to espouse the characteristics of being a thinker, communicator, inquirer, and risk-taker, and of being caring, knowledgeable, reflective, open-minded, balanced, and principled.  Through my example, I hope the students will develop these traits as well.
